Hon. Garba Datti has been declared winner of the All Progressive Congress Primary Election for Sabon Gari Federal Constituency of Kaduna State.
Hon. Datti polled 55 votes to emerge winner of the primary election.
Five delegates each from 11 wards all cast their votes for Datti making his co- contestant, Mai Chito with no vote.
Declaring the results, Chairman of the APC Primary Election, Sabon Gari Federal Constituency, Mohammed Bala said Hon. Garba Datti having scored the highest votes in the Sabon Gari primary election is hereby declared winner.
Hon. Garba Datti currently represnts Sabon Gari Federal Constituency of Kaduna State. He is the Chairman, House Committee on Port and Harbour.
He was one of the Principal Officers in the 7th National Assemby, 2011-2015 where he served as the Deputy Minority Whip. He won the election then under the platform of ANPP, the party that merged with other political parties to form APC.
Datti was also re-elected in 2015 and 2019 under the platform of APC.
