Lawan took the decision ahead of Tuesday’s deadline for the sale of nomination and expression of interest forms of APC.

Some political associates of the Senate President who obtained the forms on his behalf later presented them to him at his gusest house in Abuja in brief ceremony.

Lawan promised if elected president of Nigeria, he will continue from where Buhari stops and take the country to the desired height.

Leader of the group, Sam Nkire earlier at the ICC where the forms were obtained told journalists that “We are not here on our own, we have his backing. Even though friends and brothers contributed to purchase this form for him but he has given us the go-ahead.”
