Ahead of the All Progressives Congress convention scheduled for 26th March, 2022, Senator Tanko Al-Makura, an aspirant for the national chairmanship position will on Thursday meet with the House of Representatives members.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila made this known on Wednesday during Plenary Session.
Senator Al-Makura a former Governor of Nasarawa State and his counterpart, Senator Abdullahi Adamu also a former Governor of the state are the major contenders for the national championship position of APC if eventually North Central is to produce the chairman of the party in the next convention.
Senator Abdullahi Adamu had met with the APC House of Representatives Members on Tuesday over his ambition to contest for the position of chairman of the party.
The former Governor of Lagos State, Ahmed Tinibu was also in National Assembly to day, Wednesday where he met with the APC lawmakers.
Tinibu first met with the ApC Senators at the Senate wing before proceeding to House of Representatives bloc where he had meeting with the APC Lawmakers from the green chamber.
