The High Court in Kaduns on Mobday granted the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Ibraheem El-Zakzaky permision to go to India for medical treatment.
IMN was recently declared by the government as a terrorist organization.
The members of IMN have been protesting the continous stay of their leader in detention despite court ruling which granted him bail.
El-Zakzaky and his wife, Zeenat were not in the court during the ruling.
Early in the day, secutity agents tightened security in the Kaduna metropolis ahead of the hearing of the bail application of the IMN leader and his wife.
It is not immeditely known if the government will obey this ruling and allow him to travel abroad for medical treatment.
