Hon. Umar Mohammed Jega has won the All Progressive Congress Primary Election for Aleiro/Gwandu/Jega Federal Constituency of Kebbi State.
Hon. Jega polled 146 votes to defeat other two aspirants who got 3 and 1 vote each.
Mohammed Hassan got 3 votes while Kabir Jega got 1 vote.
Declaring the results, Chairman of the Primary Election, Dunkwu Nngmdi said.the total accredited voters were 150 and total votes cast 150 without invalid vote.
He said Hon. Umar Mohammed Jega having scored highest number of votes is hereby declared winner of the election.
Hon. Umar Mohammed Jega is currently the representative of Aleoro/Gwandu/Jega Federal Constituency of Kebbi State. He is the Chairman, House Committee on Internally Displaced Persons, Migrants and Refugees.
