The National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons(NCFRMI) has gained recognition for creating massive impact in the humanitarian sector by emerging winners of this year’s category of the 3rd Security and Emergency Management Awards (SAEMA2021).

The event was organized by Emergency Digest, a publication of image Merchants Promotion Limited in conjunction with the Center for Crisis Communication(CCC) and Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Center(CISLAC) to publicly acknowledge and celebrate outstanding contributions in security and emergency management with a view to creating resilient and professional approach in tackling natural challenges.

The Award is coming on the heels of the dogged approach Haj. Imaan has introduced in handling migrant and persons of concern issues.

One of the participants at the ceremony which was held on Saturday, December 18 at the Nicon Luxury hotel was so pleased with the award that he commented thus: “Since the arrival of Haj. Imaan at the helm of affairs at the commission, all administrative and financial matters have been squarely tackled with the plight of refugees gradually being wiped out”, he said.

The man who gave his name Usman Farouk further hailed Haj, Imaan for her competence, hard work and focused approach. “We need more of people like that in leadership positions “he declared.
