President Muhammadu Buhari has signed the 2021 Supplementary Appropriation Bill into law.
The Nigerian and House of Representatives passed the same budget before proceeding for their annual break.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on the National Assembly Matters (House of Representatives), Umar El-yakub, revealed this while briefing State House Correspondents after the signing in Abuja.
The supplementary budget is N982,729,695,343 and will largely fund security and health concerns.
The budget was primarily for the procurement of equipment for the military and medical infrastructure as well as COVID-19 vaccines.
