Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe representing Abia South Senatorial District has emerged as Minority Leader of the 9th Senate.
He was named as the Minority Leader during a meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the Maitama residence of Uche Secondus, the party National Chairman.
Senator Emmanuel Bwacha from Taraba South was returned as Deputy Minority Leader, while Senator Philips Aduda representing FCT, Abuja. was retained as the Minority Whip.
No communique was issued at the end of the meeting, but sources at the meeting who spoke on condition of anonymity confirmed the selections.
It was learnt that PDP will formally write the Senate as soon as possible.
