…Asks Nigerians to join hands with NNPP to rescue the country

The former Governor of Kano State Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has promised to unite Nigerians and fight against insecurity if elected president by 2023.
Kwankwaso who made this known after appearing for screening on Tuesday at the party secretariat in Abuja told journalists there are divisions in terms of religion and ethnicity but promised to address the challenge.
“The country is divided like never before.
“Nigerians are tired of what is happening in the country and we need a change.
“Many people who fly on the air may not know what is going on the roads. There are killing and kidnapping everywhere,” he said.
Responding to the question whether the emergence of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar will not affect his chances of becoming the next president of the country considering the fact that all of them are from the Northern part of the country, Kwankwaso said election is about competence, credibility and the capability to meet the needs, yearning and aspirations of the people.
He assured that he possesses the quality to lead Nigeria to the desired hight.
“Nigeria will vote for somebody who is competent. I believe Nigerians will vote for NNPP in all levels of election.
On the allegation that he collected money from a PDP aspirant to give delegates, he said he has left APC and PDP for good and there is no reason he will go back and collect money on behalf of delegates.
