Edo 2021: Governor Sule Vows to Uplift Sports Standard, Rewards Team Nasarawa
Nasarawa State governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule, has vowed to further uplift standards of sports in the state, even as he rewarded Team Nasarawa with various cash awards, for their exploits during the just concluded 20th edition of the National Sports Festival, in Benin City, Edo State.
Engineer Sule who couldn't hide his excitement on the exploits of the state's athletes and coaches at the event, showered the athletes with monetary gifts, at a ceremony that held at the Government House, on Monday.
During the special reception organized in honour of the contingent, the governor congratulated Team Nasarawa athletes who won various medals at the two-week long sports fiesta, urging them to sustain the spirit, going forward.
